As a result of a long and mentoring relationship with the noted North Carolina artist George Bireline, Robert Irwin and Bob Rankin formed a study group along with Anthony Ulinski, Richard Garrison, Jason Craighead and David Connell. The group meets regularly to share ideas, offer critiques, and support one another.
